HAPPY volunteers include students of Yale College, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Public Health. Our volunteers provide weekly hypertension screening in New Haven community centers and also pursue education outreach programs, community service, research, and fundraisers.
HAPPY works closely with our advisors and sponsoring agencies in developing volunteer training protocols, obtaining service equipment and supplies, and conducting innovative research and intervention projects.
HAPPY collaborates with many fellow Yale University undergraduate organizations to promote our service and fundraising initiatives, such as Yale Medical Professions Outreach (YMPO), REMEDY at Yale Student Association (RYSA), Yale Public Health Coalition (PHC), and Yale Hunger and Homeless Action Project (YHHAP).
